The Facade:
The facade features a modulation of mirror panels designed to blend seamlessly with the desert environment and harmonize with the tranquil ambiance of the surrounding valley. These panels reflect the majestic mountain ranges and vibrant sunsets, enhancing the overall serenity. Constructed with large-sized panels and an extra insulation layered wall, it offers protection against the harsh desert weather. The panel modulation helps conceal installations, facilitating easier maintenance. The windows seamlessly integrate with the mirror panels, thanks to their versatile design. Only the sections of the facade housing the windows feature two-sided polarized glass, effectively mitigating harsh sunlight and enhancing interior illumination.
Hotel Rooms:
The hotel rooms are arranged on two levels, accommodating 2 to 4 people. Each room features a kitchenette, bathroom, and living room on the lower level, while the bed area utilizes a double-height mezzanine to provide panoramic views of the landscape through expansive windows spanning both levels.
Glamping Unit:
The Glamping units are constructed from a lightweight aluminum and wood structure, designed to be driven by 4x4 trucks across the desert. Each unit consists of a double-height room similar to the hotel rooms, with a social area on the first level and a sleeping area on the second. However, instead of traditional beds, there are small bunk beds to enhance the glamping experience.The facade of the unit follows the same design concept as the hotel, featuring double-height and skylight windows enabled by the panel openings. During travel, guests are securely strapped into special seats inside the unit for safety. Each unit includes a prefabricated sanitary cell divided into two sections. One section serves the interior of the unit, while the other is accessible from the exterior, providing facilities for the truck driver without disturbing the guests. Opposite the sanitary cell is a small kitchenette and refrigerator system. Additionally, each unit is equipped with its own battery, generator, water, and waste management systems located underneath the structure.
Active Systems:
Solar panels discreetly integrated into the roof provide ample electricity, ensuring self-sufficiency when disconnected from the grid. Additionally, each glamping unit is equipped with solar panels atop its roof. Water supply and waste management systems are concealed beneath the base, with easy access for maintenance. Waste treatment facilities are also located underground, facilitating water reuse and nutrient recycling to nurture the desert vegetation in the immediate vicinity.
